The Medici Effect Podcast Launches

NEW YORK, NY — March 7, 2017 — The Medici Group®, the strategy firm focused on how diversity drives innovation, today launched THE MEDICI EFFECT PODCAST, hosted by founder and CEO Frans Johansson. The debut episode features legendary Nike designer Jason Mayden.

Taking its inspiration by Johansson's eponymously named book, the podcast brings together creative minds and business leaders to share their innovation journey into the intersection of diverse industries, fields, cultures, and disciplines. Season 1 guests such as illusionist David Copperfield, Synchrony Financial CEO Margaret Keane, and physicist and bestselling author Lisa Randall will share how they create the Medici Effect every day.

First published in 2004, The Medici Effect introduced the concept of intersectional innovation, and was lauded by Clayton Christensen as "the best book on managing innovation that I have read." Since its debut, The Medici Effect has become the definitive book on how diversity drives innovation. With ideas that are timeless and more relevant than ever, the book will be re-released later this month by Harvard Business Press.
