The Senior Consultant position is a client-facing role with responsibilities split between leading client engagements and coaching executive teams. As an engagement leader, the Senior Consultant manages deliverables, staffing and resourcing; facilitates discussions and sessions with clients, including executive leadership; and contributes to Medici’s growing consulting practice including the development of new models and frameworks. As a coach, the Senior Consultant participates as a specialist on certain engagements, working with a number of client teams simultaneously, assessing their progress in executing their project, providing insight and guidance around common traps of innovation, and rallying teams to deliver outcomes.

Critical to the Senior Consultant’s success is his or her understanding and ability to apply the Medici Approach to client challenges and ability to empathize with client teams navigating internal infrastructures that inhibit rather than spur innovation. For this reason, experience in a corporate environment is required. In addition, any experience with startups, either directly or in an advisory capacity, would be a plus.
